"Katlin" is actually one of our founder's middle names. It means pure, beauty, and virginal, which we find fitting for our product – with Greek, Irish, Celtic, and English origins.
Katlin Pronounced [ kat-lin ]
Like "cat" but with a "k." Definitely not like Caitlin or Katelynn. * No offense to any Kates or any variation of them out there. We still 💛 you.
Yes, our soap is 100% natural and only contain ingredients sourced from plants and minerals that could be found in nature. We don't include any harmful dyes or unnatural fragrances. All of our products are naturally dyed and fragranced with trusted ingredients that offer more benefits for your body than risk–but please keep in mind your specific allergies when purchasing a product or the allergies of those you're gifting to. We love being able to make products that are better for you and better for our planet. We are always striving to reduce our carbon footprint as much as possible.
Natural soap doesn't use harsh or dangerous chemicals while still providing a cleansing lather. We source all of our ingredients from plants and minerals that could be found in nature.
Some non-natural soaps contain harmful chemicals such as Parabens, Fragrances, Synthetic Colors, Phthalates, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS) / Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLES), Formaldehyde, Toluene, Propylene Glycol, and even some sunscreen chemicals can be harmful. Many of these ingredients have been linked to adverse side effects like irritation, disruption in hormones, aches, and even diseases like Alzheimer’s and cancer.
The main difference between fragrance oils and essential oils is that fragrance oils are manufactured in a lab and essential oils are made of natural materials.
We only use essential oils in our body care products, never fragrance oils.
We don't mess with it. Palm oil is the leading cause of orangutan extinction. It’s in 50% of all household and food products sold in the West. It’s an ingredient in shampoo, toothpaste, detergent, frozen microwavable dinners, cookies, peanut butter, lotion, makeup and much more. We're proud to offer a product completely free of it.
We respect animal life and the quality of it just as much as the Earth itself and will never consider testing on animals or harming them.
Our soap is not currently 100% Vegan, due to the use of goat milk, which has proven benefits in being used as a personal cleanser as it is loaded with nutrients and vitamins. Using goat milk in a skin care regimen has been known to moisturize skin, reduces acne, exfoliate the skin, and benefit people with sensitive skin.
Our goal is to offer a wider variety of Vegan options in the future. Check back with us as we introduce new products to our assortment and let us know how important this would be to you.
The life of a soap bar is dependent on multiple factors, such as how often you shower/bathe, how much of a lather you produce, and the amount of hair you may have. Though, most of our soap bars will last between 3-4 weeks we’ve found.
We're for anyone who vibes with what we're aiming to accomplish. All of our scents are generally unisex, are reminiscent of things that could be found in nature, and can be used by whoever is into our take on what stripped back products for the body should be and do for you and our planet. Harm and cruelty-free gender-neutral scents just make sense.

Because all skin types are not the same, we don’t make any claims that a specific product we offer will benefit your skin or body in a specific way. When we speak to something with the wording ‘has been known to,’ or similar phrasing, we are referencing individual ingredients we use within our products that there are understandings about in regard to how they affect the human body. Everyone has different allergies, even to natural ingredients, so please be responsible in reading ingredient labels for anything you put in or on your body or planning to gift to somebody else. Your skin is the largest organ of your body and since it is porous, it can absorb ingredients which can enter your bloodstream and lymphatic system.
